2010 Morrie Miller Youth Tackle Football Season

The 2010 season of Morrie Miller Youth Tackle football is upon us. The season is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 9th. We practice on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Games are on Saturday mornings at St. Mike's Field or Monday nights under the lights at WSU's Maxwell Field and Paul Giel Field in Winona.
Cost for participation is $75.00 The League provides helmets, shoulder pads, pants, mouth guards, and game jerseys. No student will be turned away due to financial hardship. Financial assistance is available, no child will be turned away.
The League is open to ALL area boys and girls entering the 4th through 6th grades in 2010. Included in the league are teams from Lewiston, Rushford, Houston, and Spring Grove.
Participants can register and pick up equipment at the Roger Bacon Hall on the Winona Cotter Campus. At that time we will be registering participants, handing out equipment, and answering any questions that you may have. We will register in the following grade groups;
- Incoming 6th graders — 5:30-7:00 pm on Monday, August 2rd
- Incoming 5th graders — 5:30-7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 3th
- Incoming 4th graders — 5:30-7:00 pm on Thursday, August 5th
1st practice is Monday, August 9th at St. Mike's Field in Winona. Helmets, shorts, and football shoes at the 1st practice. NO PADS
If you cannot attend any of these times, we can register participants during the first week of practice, August 9th thru August 12th. Any questions or concerns can be directed to League Director, Stephen Kosidowski @ 507-459-2005.
